Parlay Jackpot

Nitrogen Sports Monthly Parlay Jackpot
Update August 4th, 2015: New Jackpot Prize Allocation
Starting this month, we’ve updated the Parlay Jackpot prize allotment. Contenders in our Middleweight and Featherweight pools will now be playing for a larger share of the monthly jackpot!

New Jackpot Share Structure:
  • Heavyweight - 60% of awarded jackpot
  • Middleweight - 30% of awarded jackpot
  • Featherweight - 10% of awarded jackpot

The NEW Parlay Jackpot!
We’re sprucing up the Parlay Jackpot in a big way! The new jackpot promotion features multiple prize pools to suit everyone’s betting style. Now, you can win a share of the jackpot while playing your normal stakes. The new Parlay Jackpot still carries the same excitement and huge jackpots, but with multiple prize pools, there are more chances to win!

What is the Parlay Jackpot?
The Parlay Jackpot is a prize pool which we award to a number of our members every month. There are now 3 pools. The top 7 players in each pool (21 total) with the highest parlay payouts win a share of the prize. Parlays that lose by only one leg can still count towards the jackpot prize!

So what’s new?
The parlay jackpot now features multiple prize pools as opposed to the previous single prize pool. Each of the three pools will have a set portion of the jackpot allocated to its winners. The pools have different maximum wager sizes and allocated jackpot winnings.

What are the prize pools?
Heavyweight - Unlimited max wager - Winners take 60% of the awarded jackpot*
Middleweight - Max 0.1 BTC wager - Winners take 30% of the awarded jackpot*
Featherweight - Max 0.01 BTC wager - Winners take 10% of the awarded jackpot*

*80% of the total jackpot will be awarded at the end of each month as laid out in the leaderboard. 20% of the jackpot will be used to seed the next month's jackpot.

What are the general rules?
(1) Your parlay must contain at least 2 winning plays (parlays that get reduced and only end up with one winning play will not count)
(2) Your parlay must not contain more than 1 loss, push or cancelled play (parlays that have one push and one cancel for example will not count)
(3) All legs of the parlay must take place within the same calendar month; if a match takes place in the next month, your parlay will not count towards the promotion.
(4) Only one account per household is eligible to win
(5) All prizes for this promotion are awarded into the winners' Nitrogen Sports account on or before the 10th of the following month.

What are the specified rules for Heavyweights?
(1) No max bet
(2) 60% of the awarded jackpot will be paid to the top 7 players on the Heavyweight leaderboard

What are the specified rules for Middleweights?
(1) Max bet is 0.1 BTC
(2) All Middleweights eligible bets are by default eligible for the Heavyweight pool as well.
(3) 30% of the awarded jackpot will be paid to the top 7 players on the Middleweight leaderboard

What are the specified rules for Featherweights?
(1) Max bet is 0.01 BTC
(2) All Featherweight eligible bets are by default eligible for the Middleweight and Heavyweight pools.
(3) 10% of the awarded jackpot will be paid to the top 7 players on the Featherweight leaderboard

Can I win more than one pool with a single parlay?
Yes! There are no restrictions on minimum bet size for each pool. Therefore, you could win in more than one pool with a single parlay depending on the winning odds and risked amount. For example, a Middleweight sized parlay (0.1 BTC max wager) could win in both the Heavyweight and Middleweight pools if its parlay payout ranked within the top 7 in both pools. However, it would not qualify for the Featherweight pool because its wager amount is too high. Featherweight sized wagers (0.01 BTC and under) are the only parlays which have the potential to win a share of all three prize pools.

How do I win the jackpot(s)?
The users that have their highest parlay payout (rounded to the nearest 0.1 BTC), ranked second by highest odds, listed in the leaderboards each month will win the corresponding prize(s). As mentioned above, Featherweight or Middleweight sized parlays have the ability to qualify for more than one prize pool!

What makes the jackpot grow?
Every time a parlay wager is placed on Nitrogen Sports, a small percent of that amount is added to the jackpot amount. Each month, the jackpot is initially seeded with 20% of the previous month’s jackpot.

How are the odds for qualifying parlays calculated?
The odds for a parlay will be calculated using the winning legs only. Parlays which have a single losing leg will still be eligible for the promotion (as before), however the odds will only use the winning leg portion of the parlay. The payout amount will still use the original amount. This allows parlays which are winners in all legs to have a greater chance in the contest.

When does this promotion start / end?
The promotion starts on the 1st of every month at 00:00 UTC. The end date of the promotion is the last day of each month, 23:59 UTC. For a parlay to count, it must be submitted before the 00:00 UTC and no game can be delayed more than 24 hours. All legs of the parlay must take place within the same calendar month; if a match takes place in the next month, your parlay will not count towards the promotion.

When are the prizes awarded?
All prizes for this promotion are awarded into the winners' Nitrogen Sports account on or before the 10th of the following month.

Why don't I see my parlay on the leaderboard?
Parlays will only show up if all legs of the parlay are graded. Only a user's highest parlay counts towards the leaderboard. Users are only eligible for one spot on each individual leaderboard. However one wager can be eligible for a spot on each leaderboard if it qualifies under the Max wager rules outlined above.

What happens in the case of a tie?
Instead of splitting the prize for tied parlay winners, payouts will be sorted first by payout and then second by odds. In the case of a tie, the user with higher odds on their betslip will be ranked and rewarded higher than the user with reduced odds. In the case of the payout and the odds being identical, players will then split the prize.

What is the limit on parlays?
The global parlay limit is 50 BTC. Please note that not all sports and events are included in the global limit. If your slip includes certain eSports, Tennis or other smaller or less popular leagues, your parlay may limit the maximum payout to less than the global limit.

Can I hide my betslips from the promotion and still win?
We always strive for a fair balance between privacy and transparency. In order to maintain this, users who wish to participate in the parlay promotion will no longer be allowed to hide their betslips. If you would like to have your betslips remain private, you do have the option to withdraw yourself from this monthly promotion.

I don't like the rules or I have a suggestion to improve this promotion.
We are always open to new ideas! Catch us in chat, or create a support ticket with your feedback - that way we can keep making our promotions better and better!

Do I need to complete all the challenges to win?
No. You can still win the prize draws for the challenges you have completed. However, you will not be eligible to enter or win the grand prize draw without completing all 8 challenges.

Do I need my parlay wagers to be on certain bet types?
No. You may wager on spreads, totals, and moneylines for the contest.

Is there a minimum wager amount?
Yes. For a betslip to be eligible, each bet (or betslip in the case of the parlay challenges) must have a minimum stake of 0.01, 0.05, and 0.1 btc for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold challenges respectively.

Will placing a bet automatically earn me a challenge tile?
No. In order for your tile to appear, you must share your betslip or hand of poker (that completes any of the challenges) by sending them to us on Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #10xChallenge. Only betslips and hands shared before the end of the promotion (Sunday June 7th @ 23:59 UTC) will count towards the contest.

What if I have a betslip that completes 2 challenges?
Only ONE challenge tile will be awarded per betslip. Betslips that complete more than one challenge will be credited in the order of which tile is first.

Can I make 2 identical betslips that complete 2 tiles?
Yes. While each individual betslip will only count for ONE tile, betslips that are identical can be applied to the next tile.

For parlay challenges can I submit larger parlays?
Yes. You may apply larger parlays to any valid challenge (by specifying the 10x Challenge when sharing).

I've shared my betslip / poker hand, how long will it take for the challenge tiles to appear on my account or on the leaderboard?
After sharing your betslip or hand of poker via Twitter or Facebook, please allow 24 hours for the challenge tiles to appear on the leaderboard and for any free bets to appear in your account.

When does this promotion end?
All bets must be on matches with a start date prior to Sunday, June 7th at 18:00 UTC. Final slips must be shared by 23:59 UTC, Sunday June 7th, 2015 in order to count towards the promotion.

When will the prize awarded?
Any free bets you receive by completing gold challenges will be awarded within 24 hrs of sharing the betslip. Winners of the prize draws will be selected on June 8th at 1:00 UTC and announced via Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, and our BitcoinTalk thread within 24 hours.

Why don't I see my User # on the leaderboard yet? How come my challenge tile isn't showing yet?
Due to the nature of the challenges, betslips and poker hands are added manually. Please allow up to 24 hours for your challenge tiles to be awarded. If you have additional issues or questions please create a support ticket.

Can I enter the contest with multiple accounts?
Absolutely NOT. We have extremely sophisticated methods for detecting multiple accounts in our system. Any user or team of users that attempt to defraud the contest by using more than one account will forfeit all promotion prizes and be banned from the contest. Any prizes won from fraud accounts will be split among all remaining prize winners.

Is there a deadline to submit my betslips?
Yes, at stated above (at the very start of the contest), betslips must be shared by 23:59 UTC, June 7th, 2015 in order to count towards the promotion. No exceptions will be made. All betslips submitted AFTER this time will not count towards the promotion and those users WILL NOT have the tile unlocked.

What if I just simply forgot to submit by slip as per the requirements above?
Your slip will not count towards the promotion.

Nitrogen Sports NFL Survivor Pool
When does this promotion start?
The last day for entries into any pool is Sunday, September 13 @ 17:00 UTC.

When are my picks due?
Each pick must be selected prior to the scheduled time of the first game every Sunday (typically @ 17:00 UTC every Sunday). For picks on the Thursday night games, those must be submitted prior to the start of the scheduled time for every Thursday game.

When does this promotion end?
The NFL Survivor Pool will end after the completion of the regular season. Individual pools may end earlier if all participants are eliminated before the end of the season.

What does the Guaranteed Prize mean?
The Guaranteed Prize means this is the minimum we will award for this pool. If the number of entrants is large enough, then the pool will be larger than the guaranteed amount! 100% of all entries go towards the pool. Nitrogen takes zero (0%) fees.

When are the prizes awarded to the winners?
All prizes for this promotion are awarded into the winners' Nitrogen Sports account by January 13, 2016. In the event of the survivor pool ending earlier (all participants eliminated before the end of the regular season), prizes will be awarded ahead of schedule for any completed/finished survivor pool.

What if multiple people win a pool?
If multiple people win a pool, the total prize of the pool will be split between them.

Are there any rollover requirements for this promotion?
No. You are free to instantly withdraw any prizes you win from this promotion.

Can I enter more than once?
You can absolutely buy into the paid pools more than once! However, you can only submit one entry into the free pool.

Can I create multiple accounts to enter the free pool more than once?
No, you cannot enter the free pool with multiple accounts. We have extremely sophisticated methods for detecting multiple accounts in our system. Any user or team of users that attempt to defraud the contest by using more than one account will forfeit all promotion prizes and be banned from the contest. Any prizes won from fraud accounts will be split among all remaining prize winners.

Is Nitrogen Sports taking a hosting fee for this contest?
No; we’re not taking a percentage of the pots! 100% of all prizes and entry fees is returned to the participating users!

Can I see other user's picks?
Yes. After the first game on each Sunday has started and all picks are locked in, you will be able to see who has picked what team for that week!

What if the game ends in a tie?
All games that end in a tie will be counted as a loss and will end your survivor entry.

What if the team I selected has a bye this week?
If you select a team that has a bye, it will count as a loss. You must select a winning team each and every week in order to survive to the following week. You’re responsible for knowing what teams are playing each week when you make your selection.

Can I submit picks in advance?
Yes, you can select your entire survivor picks right away if you like.

I forgot to submit my pick this week; can I still move on?
Unfortunately no, only winning picks will allow you to move forward to the next round. If you forget to submit a pick for a certain week, that will mark the end of your pool entry.

I didn't forget to submit my pick, but it wouldn't let me place the pick because it says the game has started even though it hasn't started yet!
We use the scheduled time for the first game each week. We do not use the kickoff time. All picks that fail to be submitted before the scheduled time will not count and the system will not allow them to be processed. Do not leave your picks until the last minute. No refunds will be granted, no picks will be entered by customer support, no exceptions will be made.

I've changed my mind, can you refund my survivor pool entry?
No. All entries are final and will not be refunded. No exceptions will be made.

I made a mistake with a pick. Can I change it?
No. All pick submissions are final. Nobody will be allowed to change a submitted pick. No refunds will be granted, no picks will be changed by customer support, no exceptions will be made.

But the mistake makes me lose my pool, I didn't realize team X didn't play in week Y. Can you just let me choose another team?
No. Your survivor pool picks are final. No refunds will be granted, no picks will be entered by customer support, no exceptions will be made.

What if something happens that is not covered by any of the rules above?
In the case where no rule can be applied, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to apply their sole judgement to handling the issue. In the case where the judgement can/will affect multiple users, all decisions will remain consistent across all user accounts.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

General
Free Bets
  1. What is your minimum bet?0.001 BTC

  2. What is your maximum bet?Maximum bet amounts vary based on a lot of factors (like sport, league or how far away the start time is for example). For transparency, all of our limits are displayed next to the bet so that you know how much you can wager. This maximum "wager amount" can be either the RISK or the TO-WIN value. For example, if the maximum wager was displayed as 1.0 BTC, but the odds were (1.500/-200), you could still risk 2.0 BTC to win 1.0 BTC.

  3. I made a mistake with a bet, can you change it or cancel it?As per our rules and terms; we can never change, modify or cancel any bet confirmed by a user. You must always check your betslip before confirming. If you are ever unsure about what wagers you have, you can check this under menu Nitrogen -> My Wagers. You can also turn on email notifications to get an email for every wager you place. If you made a mikstake, you can always bet the other side of the wager to help negate your bet.

  4. Why is my wager not graded yet? Some sports and leagues must have their results verified by our team to ensure correct results. Sports especially like eSports or foreign sports teams do not always have official pages, or sometimes the posted results are incorrect on one source and take multiple sources to verify the winner/outcome. Most prop bets require additional verification as well: please allow up to 12 hours for any prop bet to be graded.

  5. Why is my deposit not here yet?99.9% of the time the deposit is not here it is because it has not actually been sent to us. A large number of services (exchanges, eWallets, etc) will create transactions, debit your "account" with them but not actually send coins into the blockchain until several hours later (we have seen as long as 72 hours in some rare cases).

You can confirm for yourself if funds have been sent by looking at the blockchain transaction ID by going to: https://blockchain.info/tx/insert-transacation-id-here

If you see your transaction in the blockchain and you do not see it in your nitrogen account, then try closing your browser and logging back in to your account again. If this still does not solve the issue, then create a support ticket and a member of our support team will help resolve the issue.

  6. How long do withdraws take?Withdraws are very fast in most cases. Sometimes our security might detect that your account has been hacked or accessed by a 3rd party in which case your withdraw may need a manual review. If you make an eSports bet on your account then a manual process of the withdraw is needed. Please allow 24 hours for any withdraw needing review.

  7. How do you decide on the odds to offer? Our odds are grabbed from various sources and are also subject to change depending on any action we receive on a particular game. If you find lower juice offered elsewhere, please let us know by creating a support ticket so that we can remain competitive.

  8. Why are your limits low, I want to wager more?Typically, limits will get raised closer to the start time; check back before the event starts for higher limits. If limits before start time are still not as high as you would like then let us know by creating a support ticket (with all details like sport, league and wager type)! We will take your ticket into consideration when deciding on which sports and leagues to focus on raising our limits in the future.

  9. What do I do if I have a problem that I couldn't solve after reading this FAQ, the Rules page and the Terms page or what if I just have a feature I want to request?Create a support ticket. You can do this through the menu on the left under Nitrogen -> Support.

  1. What is a Free Bet? A "free bet" grants the user ONE (1) free bet up to the risk amount listed (including parlays). Your balance will not be affected by placing a free bet. If this bet wins, the "to win" amount will be credited to your account. If the bet loses your account balance will not change. This free bet will show up as 0.00 BTC stake on your My Wagers page. You do not receive back the "risk" amount if the bet wins, as the risk amount for any free bet is 0.00.

  2. How do I use a free bet?To use a free bet, add wagers to your betslip as you would with any other bets. When you are ready to lock it in, you will see a new purple button underneath the existing "Place Wager" button which says "FREE BET!" followed by the amount it's worth. Dice FAQ
  1. The ObjectiveIn a game of blackjack the objective is to defeat the dealer’s hand by obtaining a hand of cards totalling nearer to 21 than the dealer without going over that number. The individual players do not face off against each other, but merely need to beat the dealer’s had to win.

  2. Card Values In blackjack, cards have specific numerical values that are key to your strategy and success as you play.

Aces are a unique card, and can be worth 1 or 11 (as a player, you do not need to specify which, rather it will be altered to create the best outcome for you).

Cards numbered 2 through 9 are worth their numerical face value.

The 10, Jack, Queen and King are all worth 10.

It is important to note that suits have no impact on the value of cards

  3. Number of DecksThe number of decks depends on the rule variant you are playing. Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out exactly how many decks are used for that variant.

  4. Placing a Bet Prior to the cards being dealt, you will be given the opportunity to place a bet by entering the amount of BTC you wish to risk in the space labelled “Bet Amount”. Currently, betting limits are set per game (0.001 BTC minimum). Click on the 'Rules' button to see the maximum bet amount for that variant.

  5. The Deal The player and dealer are initially dealt two cards each, with the dealer leaving one of its two cards exposed to the view of the player.

  6. Playing a Hand The player will always have the opportunity to play his/her hand before the dealer. In blackjack, you have several options on how to play each hand.

  7. Surrender If this option is used by a player, his/her hand is folded and a certain percentage of the initial bet returned. Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out exactly how much is returned for that variant.

  8. Hit/Stand To hit or to stand is the most common decision that a blackjack player must make. Once you examine the two cards you have been dealt, you must decide if you will “hit” (be dealt another card) or “stand” (remain with the total of the cards in your hand). As a player, you can choose to “hit” as many times as you wish, but remember, as soon as the total of the cards in your hand goes over 21, you “bust” and lose that hand.

  9. Double Down Doubling down gives a player the chance to bet twice the amount of the originally placed wager. Once a player chooses to “double-down”, they will receive one (and only one) more card to their hand. If that player busts, or loses to the dealer’s hand, all monies risked will be lost. If the player wins, they will receive back twice what they risked. The time a user is allowed to Double Down depends on the rule variant you are playing. Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out exactly when you are allowed to Down Down for that variant.

  10. Split The option to split pairs can be one of the more interesting parts of blackjack. Players who are dealt a pair of equally valued cards to their hand (i.e. two 4s or a 10 & K) have the option to split them up, and play each card as two separate hands. If a player receives another pair with the split, that hand can also be split if the player so chooses (depending on the Blackjack variant being played, the player may or may not be allowed to resplit Aces). An additional wager, equal to the amount of the initial bet, will be placed for each extra hand. The maximum number of times a user can split depends on the rule variant you are playing, as does the times at which a player can Double Down after splitting. Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out exactly how many splits are allowed, when Doubling Down after a split is allowed, and whether resplitting Aces is allowed for that variant.

  11. Insurance When the dealer’s show card is an ace, players will have the option of taking out insurance. Before any further plays are made, a player has the option to make an insurance bet of half the value of their initial bet. If the dealer reveals that its hidden card has a value of 10, making its hand a blackjack, the insurance bet pays out at a ratio determined by the game variant. If the dealer has a hidden card with a value other than 10, the insurance bet is lost and the hand must be played out as normal. Essentially, this is an opportunity for a player to protect themselves against losing their initial wager to a potential blackjack for the dealer. Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out what the insuranace payout ratio is for that variant.

  12. Blackjack A “blackjack” refers to being dealt a natural 21 (a total of 21 in a two card hand). A blackjack will always be, therefore, an ace and any other card with a value of ten. A blackjack will beat any dealer hand besides another blackjack (in which case the hand is a tie). Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out what the Blackjack payout ratio is for that variant.

  13. Dealer Play In a game of blackjack, the dealer will always play out its hand after the player has had a chance to complete his/her hand. The dealer will play its hand based on odds and predictability, just as any player might. In almost all cases, the dealer will stand on a hand of 17, and continue to hit until it has reached at least that mark.

The sole exception to the rule of standing on 17 is if it is a “soft” or “hard” 17. A soft 17 is a 17 which contains at least one ace (Ex: A/6 OR A/2/4 OR A/5/A). Please click the 'Rules' button on the Blackjack page to find out if the dealer hits on a soft 17 for that variant.

  1. What is Provably Fair? At Nitrogen Sports, we take the ideals of fair play seriously and verify our casino blackjack feature through provably fair software.

Provably fair software enables each user to independently verify the authenticity of every automated shuffle conducted by Nitrogen Sports. This ensures that players can test each shuffle through an independent and objective system, and be satisfied of the fairness of the game at all times.

  2. How Does it Work? Nitrogen Sports’ provably fair software uses a function called cryptographic hash. The approach is built to ensure that neither the site nor the player will ever know how a deck will be shuffled until after the deal has been made.

In order to understand this method of verifying and proving that Nitrogen Sports is playing fair; the process is outlined and simply explained below. These steps are taken before a hand is dealt:

    • Nitrogen Sports’ servers create new decks and shuffle them through the use of the Fisher-Yates shuffle algorithm and the Mersenne Twister RNG.
    • Also using Mersenne Twister, the server comes up with random strings of numbers, called the server seed. The server seed and a string representing the cards in the deck are then combined to create a single encoded string. The outcome is then referred to as the ‘secret’.
    • The secret is then hashed through the utilization of the one-way hashing algorithm, SHA256. The value will then be shown to the player prior to the hand being dealt.
    • At this point, the player can enter a 'client seed' and start a new game.
    • Now, the server will combine the client seed and the server seed as the basis for shuffling the deck once again.
    • Finally, the hands are dealt and the game is played out as normal.

Once the game is finished, you will be able to verify fairness by clicking on the 'Provably Fair' button and clicking the 'Calculate' button - this will process all of the data to determine fairness and give a result.
  3. Independently Verifiable Our implementation for determining fairness is freely available as Javascript code. You can inspect the code yourself to ensure it is accurate.

  4. Cheating Any form of cheating is strictly prohibited, and Nitrogen Sports will vigorously pursue and investigate any suspicious activities. Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to lock the account of any user found to be cheating and seize any funds in that account.

For any questions regarding gameplay, please consult “Rules” > “Rules of Play”

  1. Where is my BTC balance for blackjack? You play blackjack with your pre-existing Nitrogen Sports bitcoin balance, available for view at the top right-hand side of your browser. Any changes to that balance through playing blackjack (wins or losses) will be reflected in that main balance.

  2. Why is my balance not updating? Your main Nitrogen account balance should update after each hand of blackjack played. While the updates should be reflected quickly, it may not always be instantaneous if there is heavy volume. Please allow a few seconds for the balance to update. If your balance has not updated for a significant period of time (a couple of minutes) please contact support and they will be happy to assist you.

  3. How does provably fair software work? Provably fair is standard for bitcoin casino games, including blackjack. It provides a means by which users can independently verify the fairness of a game through examining the deal after every hand. For more information on provably fair, please see “Fair Play” under the blackjack rules tab.

  4. How does Nitrogen Sports make money on blackjack? Nitrogen Sports collects no rake or “off the top” percentage of the blackjack played here. It is simply you and the dealer playing!

  5. Why will my Nitrogen Blackjack feature not load? Your blackjack feature should load immediately upon selection of “Blackjack” under the casino tab at the left side of your browser. If it will not load consistently, try simple tricks such as refreshing the page, restarting your browser or trying a different browser. If problems persist please reach out to support.

  6. What are the wagering limits? When playing blackjack, the minimum wager amount is 0.001 BTC and the maximum depends on the game variant. Click on the 'Rules' button to see the maximum bet amount for that variant.

  7. I find chat at the top of the browser distracting, can I get rid of it? Yes! If you’re finding chat distracting while playing blackjack, you can minimize and then eliminate it entirely by selecting the X on the chat bar. If you want to get chat back after you are done playing, simply refresh your browser and it will reappear.

  8. I keep having problems, and they just won’t go away! How can I contact support? If you are having persistent problems that are resisting quick fixes, our best-in-the-industry support team will be happy to help you out. Contact them by sending in a support ticket (click on the Nitrogen tab at the left of your browser, and then “Support”) or through email at [email protected].

Dice is a game of random chance where wagers are based on whether you think the value of a roll will end up higher or lower than a preset number between 0 and 99.99 inclusive. What makes it the game of choice for bettors worldwide is that you control the odds, not just the wagers. You set the “Chance of Winning” as a percentage, between 0.01 and 98.0, which, in turn, establishes the number in which you must end up either above or below your choice.

By adjusting the various fields you can alter the odds, and subsequent winnings, to be lower but with less risk, or higher, but with greater risk/reward.

Fields that can be adjusted include:

  • Bet Amount (how much you want to risk).
  • Win Chance (a number representing the % chance to win between 0.01 and 98).
  • Payout (the payout odds that will be applied to the bet).
  • Whether you want to choose lower or higher.

By altering one field, the others adjust automatically, giving you the odds and amounts needed to accomplish your desired outcome, should you guess correctly.

How to Play

  1. Set desired wager amount, in bitcoin, and confirm your Bet Amount is correct.

As you play, there are easy options for adjusting your bet based on your initial Bet Amount!

  2. Adjust the “Payout” field, to enter a desired odds to be paid, or the “Win Chance” field, to increase or decrease the chance to win. The “Profit on Win” will autofill upon setting these values. Switching between the “Low” or “High” settings stipulates whether the roll total needs to be over or under the target number.

  3. Click "Roll"

  4. A number between 0.00 and 99.99 inclusive is generated; if the number falls within the selected range the bet is paid out.

  1. You are responsible for your own wagers. Nitrogen software cannot/will not alter any wager that has been placed by a user, nor can Support undo a wager that has been placed. For this reason please be sure to verify the amount of all wagers being placed prior to each roll of the dice.

  2. A valid wager can currently win up to 5.0 BTC. Wagers attempted outside of this range will be declared invalid, and prevented by our system. This maximum win amount allowed can be increased or decreased at any time by Nitrogen, so please confirm all of your wagers prior to pressing the roll button.

  3. A valid “payout” must be for between 1.01020 and 9900. Wagers attempted outside of this range will be declared invalid, and prevented by the system.

  4. All wagers can be verified as Provably Fair. Users are able, and encouraged, to inspect and make use of this feature.

  5. Once placed, a wager is final and the results cannot be overturned.

  1. Our dice jackpot gives you a chance to win a cumulative pot of bitcoin by rolling the number 7, a certain number of times in a row. The current number of sevens you need to roll can be seen in the dice jackpot counter.

  2. The 7 can be anywhere in the roll (for example: 7.09 OR 34.97 would both count as rolling a 7), but you can only score one (1) 7 towards the jackpot on each roll (a roll of 17.97 only counts as one 7).

  3. You must have a bet amount and a profit amount of at least 0.001 for your roll to count towards the jackpot.

  4. For each roll you make that qualifies for the promotion, we add a percentage to the jackpot amount.

  5. For a limited time, if your streak of 7s is halfway to the dice jackpot target, you will receive a .001 btc free bet for the sportsbook. For odd-numbered targets, halfway targets will be rounded down. e.g. A target of 13 will have a halfway point of 6 rolls.

At Nitrogen, we believe in your right to be able to independently verify the fairness of every roll of the dice on our site.

To roll a number between 0 - 99.99, we combine a Server Seed, your Client Seed, and a Nonce with hmac-sha512(server_seed, client_seed-nonce). This generates a hexadecimal string.

We take the first 5 characters from the hexadecimal string, and convert it from a hexadecimal to a decimal value. If this decimal value is over 999,999 then the next 5 characters are used. Next step, we apply a modulus of 10^4 and divide it by 10^2 to obtain a number that’s 0-99.99.

Here's how you can verify each roll:

  1. Set your desired parameters (i.e. bet amount, payout, win, high/low).

  2. If you'd like to update your client seed before rolling, click the “Provably Fair” button. If you've already rolled and would like to update your Client Seed again, you'll have to click the “Change Client Seed” button before you can edit the field.

  3. This is also where you can see the hash of your server seed. The server seed is generated before you set your Client Seed so you know that it hasn't been manipulated after you make your choice.

  4. Now, click to roll the dice!

  5. After your roll, click the Provably Fair button again to generate a new Client Seed.

  6. Now, under “My Bets,” just find the roll that you want to check, and select “verify”. Here, you can view all necessary game information, including: client seed, nonce, server seed, server seed hash, and roll.

  7. Select the “calculate” button below the above information to find out if your roll was fair!

  8. Select “external verification” to be sent to a site where you can independently use the roll information to fill in the fields provided, and confirm that fair play standards are being met.

  1. What is Provably Fair? We take the ideals of fair play seriously and allow you to verify that your dice rolls are Provably Fair. You can independently verify the authenticity of every automated roll conducted by Nitrogen Sports, and can test each roll through an independent and objective system. For more information, check out our Provably Fair section here.

  2. What are the wagering limits? 0.00000001 - 50000 btc Currently the maximum Profit on Win is 10 bitcoin.

  3. Where is my bitcoin balance? When playing Nitrogen Dice, your bitcoin balance is listed, as always, at the top of the page. Your balance should update after each roll has been completed.

  4. Why is my balance not updating? Your balance should update as soon as the result of each roll has been determined. A weak or slow internet connection may, however, result in a delay of a couple of seconds. Hang tight and you'll see your winnings there soon! If the result of a roll still isn't reflected in your balance, please refresh your browser. If this fails to have an impact please contact Support through our ticketing system or by sending an email to [email protected].

  5. So, how do I play? We like to think that dice is as easy as it gets, click and roll away! At Nitrogen, however, we have added a bunch of fun and useful features to improve your dice experience. Options on how much you want to bet, the kind of payout you receive, and setting your own odds of winning give you more control over the game than ever before. For details on how to use, and make the most of these features, check out the Dice - How to Play section under our rules.

  6. Will my bet amount reset every roll? No. Once entered, your bet amount and other roll settings will remain the same until you choose to change it. However if you leave the dice game and come back at a later time, your bet amount and other roll settings may be reset to default values. Always ensure your roll settings are correct before rolling.

  7. Why can't I withdraw my 0.00032 BTC? The minimum withdrawal amount at Nitrogen Sports is 0.001 BTC. Keep on winning and you'll get there soon!

  8. Am I able to see a history of my previous wagers? Definitely! When playing dice, you can select the “My Bets” button to view your last 50 rolls. You can see your entire history under “My Casino Wagers” tab in the “Nitrogen" menu. The record lets you know what you bet, when, how much, the outcome, your profit, and also allows you to verify the fairness of each hand.

  9. How does the counter work? The counter (or wheel) at the center of your screen is a visual representation of your roll. The space around the wheel proportionally represents possible numbers from 0 to 99.99. As soon as you click “ROLL,” the wheel will begin to fill clockwise, and the larger numerical counter in the middle will keep up with the wheel as it fills. The smaller number in the circle outside of the wheel represents the number which you must roll over or under (depending on your wager type) to win. This number can be shifted depending on the “payout” or “win chance” you have selected.

  10. I rolled 49.5 exactly, why didn't I get paid out? Your wager is on whether or not your roll will be higher or lower than the indicated win chance, not whether it will be equal-to or higher, or equal-to or lower than the indicated win chance.

Heartbleed Security Update

The Heartbleed Bug is a serious vulnerability in the popular OpenSSL cryptographic software library used to secure the Internet. You can read more about the bug here.

To ensure that all accounts are secure, we are enforcing the following policy:

  • Before performing your next withdraw all users will be asked to change their passwords. Please choose a password that you do not use for any other service.
  • After your password is changed, you will be able to withdraw.
  • This first withdraw will be manually reviewed to ensure no unauthorized access to your account.
  • All subsequent withdraws from your account will then be moved back to the regular withdraw system.

Please be aware that we offer all of our users 2-factor authentication for increased security. We recommend downloading Google Authenticator on your mobile phone and then scanning the barcode on your Nitrogen account page in order to enable it. This will require all future logins, withdraws and transfers to enter a unique code from your mobile phone before they will be completed.

We appreciate everyone's patience during this security review - it is always for the safety of our customers' accounts. Please submit a support ticket, or send an email to [email protected] if you have any questions.

Marketing your own website?

This can be a great platform for referring players and getting new users. That being said, managing a website is not easy.

We’ve got 5 tips to get you started:

Have a clear goal
Like any product, your site needs to have a clear purpose and mission. Explicitly define what that is before you take any other steps.
Generate traffic through content
Regardless of your website design, your viewable content should be the most important factor of your website when it comes to generating traffic.
  • Make sure you content is consistent with your set goals
  • Be proactive about finding related news/controversies/stories to talk about
  • Look to your users for ongoing feedback
  • Find other websites/bloggers/followers who will share your content
  • Find a popular blogger to guest post for you
Fast and seamless
Your site/blog should be operating at its optimum capacity so that it is easy for your users to navigate and access all of your important content.
Credibility
Will your followers listen to or value the opinion of your website? Are you the first one they go to during updates on big news/events? You can only build credibility if you consistently deliver on your goals and understand what your user base really wants.
Build relationships
Be prompt and personal when answering your users as they come first. Build trust and loyalty with your audience to gain the type of credibility that will keep them coming back and telling their friends. Create an engaging community that interacts with the website and with each other. A very simple example of that is the live chat option on our website.

Although we have the rules below to protect NitrogenSports and our customers from abuse, we will always take a common-sense approach to dealing with any issues you have. Please feel free to contact us to discuss or learn more about any of the rules below.
  1. Obviously "bad" lines or oddsNitrogen Sports reserves the right to cancel any bet that was made on an obviously "bad" line or odd.

  2. Bets made after the event has startedAlthough we will try our best to prevent the listing of any started event, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to cancel any bet that was made after the event started. This rule does not constitute an opportunity to 'freeroll' the sportsbook, bets made a few seconds into a match in which no significant events taking place (ie. the first seconds of an eSports starcraft match) does not give cause for bets to be cancelled. All judgement is at the sole discretion of Nitrogen Sports. A player will never benefit by betting a started match with the intention to reference this rule when it loses.

  3. Grading betsBets are graded only after the event is final.

  4. Overturned and protested decisionsThe winner of an event will be determined on the date of the events conclusion. Nitrogen Sports does not recognize any "overturned" or "protested" decisions.

  5. Age restrictionsNo one under the age of 18 is allowed to make a bet.

  6. Bet limitsMinimum and maximum bet amounts on all events will be determined by Nitrogen Sports and are subject to change without prior written notice. Nitrogen Sports also reserves the right to adjust the limits on individual accounts. The maximum payout for a single bet slip is 100 BTC. For parlays, the maximum payout on a bet slip is 50 BTC.

  7. Personal InformationNitrogen Sports assumes that the information given upon signup, settings and cashier is accurate and up to date.

  8. Incorrect account balanceIn the event that funds are credited to a customer's account in error, the customer should notify Nitrogen Sports as soon as possible. Any bets made with these erroneous funds are subject to be cancelled.

  9. Placing betsMembers are responsible for their own account transactions. Please be sure to review your bets for any mistakes prior to pressing the confirm button. Once a transaction is complete, it cannot be changed. Nitrogen Sports does not take responsibility for any missing or duplicate bets made by the client. Clients may review their bets on the "My Wagers" page after each transaction, to ensure that all confirmed wagers were accepted.

  10. DisputesDisputes must be submitted within seven (7) days from the date the bet in question has been graded. No claims will be honored after this period.

  11. Account securityEach client is wholly responsible for maintaining the secrecy of their login credentials. Any transactions confirmed by third parties shall stand. In the even that a customer suspects a third party may have their password, the customer may ask Nitrogen Sports to temporarily lock their account.

  12. Betting on tiesIn some games where a draw (or tie) price is offered (for example, most soccer games), if the event results in a tie only the bettors that bet the draw will be paid as winners. Those who wagered on either participant to win will lose their bet.

  13. Cancelling accountsAlthough rare, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer account without prior notice and return all funds.

  14. FraudYou will not cause any transactions to be made at Nitrogen Sports that are not in good faith in an attempt to defraud the company, regardless of whether or not it causes us harm. If Nitrogen Sports believes that any customer has intentionally acted in bad faith or has engaged in fraudulent activity, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to take any steps necessary. Nitrogen Sports has the right to cancel any bet perceived to be placed in a fraudulent manner in order to circumvent our bet limits and/or system regulations. In the event that your account receives funds in error, Nitrogen Sports reserves the rights to recover these funds at any time.

  15. Multiple AccountsYou may not, under any circumstances, create multiple accounts for the purpose of defrauding Nitrogen Sports. This includes, but is not limited to, multiple accounts created to circumvent our betting limits or multiple accounts created to take advantage of our affiliate program. Accounts created to defraud Nitrogen Sports, as decided in our sole discretion, run the risk of having the offending bet(s) cancelled from those accounts and/or those accounts permanently closed. In the event that your account receives funds in error and need to be recovered, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to treat multiple accounts belonging to a single user as one when recovering funds.

  16. Contact informationNitrogen Sports identifies and communicates with our clients via the email address registered in their account. It is the responsibility of the customer to maintain an active and unique email account and to ensure that this email address is up to date on the settings page. Each client is responsible for maintaining the security of their email account to prevent the use by any third party. Nitrogen Sports is not responsible for any damages or losses to result from communications between Nitrogen Sports and the client using their registered email address. The customer's private information will be protected in compliance with our privacy policy.

  17. Wrong sport or leagueAn event will take bets regardless if it is placed under the wrong league or sport. As long as the two participants are correct, all bets will still stand.

  18. Date of eventsIf an event is not played on the same date as announced by the governing body, then all wagers on the event are cancelled. If an event is posted by Nitrogen Sports with an incorrect date, all bets will stand based on the date announced by the governing body.

  19. Deposit and Withdraw feesBitcoin users pay no fees for deposits or withdraws.

  20. Identity verificationNitrogen Sports reserves the right to request valid proof of identification from all players.

  21. Self exclusionCustomers have the right to self-exclude themselves from Nitrogen Sports.

  22. Promotional FundsAny funds added to your account via a Promotion or Bonus have no rollover requirement and are available for immediate withdraw, unless otherwise noted.

  23. Follow the rules!By opening an account with Nitrogen Sports, customers enter into an agreement with Nitrogen Sports to abide by the site rules.

  24. Sport specific rulesIf a sport specific rule contradicts a general rule, then the general rule will not apply.

  25. Changes to rulesAll rules and regulations are subject to changes and revisions by Nitrogen Sports without prior written notice.

  26. No ruleIn the case where no listed rule can be applied, or no rule makes sense in a given situation (unique or undefined situation) Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to apply their sole judgement on how to handle such situation. All judgements in this case will be handled consistently across all users/accounts.

  27. Dead Heat RulesIn the case of ties for multi-outcome props, dead heat rules will apply. For more information, please see this article.

  1. Number of TeamsYou may select upto 20 teams in a parlay.

  2. LimitsThe parlay leg with the lowest limit will define the limit for the entire parlay.

  3. RestrictionsNitrogen Sports may exclude any event, league or sport from being able to be parlayed at any time. The maximum payout in one calendar day for any parlay is 50 BTC.

  4. Pushes and CancellationsIf one or more legs of a parlay are pushed or cancelled, the parlay odds are recalculated (reduced) based on the remaining legs that have action. Therefore, a push or cancellation in a two-team parlay is paid as a straight bet on the remaining leg using the original risk amount to calculate the win amount.

  5. Correlated ParlaysNitrogen Sports reserves the right to cancel any parlays that it finds correlated. Correlated parlays are invalid parlays that attempt to select two legs such that if one bets wins, it increases the odds of the other bet winning. Examples of correlated parlays include selecting a team to win both the first half and the full game. Another example would be an eSports player to win a map as well as their team to win the whole match. You may also reference Terms and Conditions 12g.

  6. Invalid ParlaysIn the event that a player is able to create an obviously invalid parlay as determined solely by Nitrogen Sports, Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to cancel the parlay. An example of an invalid Parlay would be adding the same outcome to the betslip twice.

  1. GeneralAll Live lines are for the complete game score, unless otherwise specified.

  2. Guarantee of LinesWe cannot guarantee a line at any point in the game. All lines will be offered at the complete discretion of Nitrogen Sports.

  3. Sport Specific RulesLive Betting wagers are decided according to any Live Wagering rules specified for that sport. If no rules are listed specifically for Live lines, then all standard rules for that sport will apply.

  4. Mistake LinesNitrogen Sports reserves the right to cancel any wager made on an obvious mistake line.

  5. No RuleIn the case where no listed rule can be applied, or no rule makes sense in a given situation (unique or undefined situation) Nitrogen Sports reserves the right to apply their sole judgement on how to handle such situation. All judgments in this case will be handled consistently across all users/accounts.

  6. Incorrect LinesWe will use our best effort to ensure that lines and odds are not being offered incorrectly or after the conclusion of an event. However, we reserve the right to cancel live wagers placed when the outcome of said wagers is already known, or when the lines and odds have not updated appropriately given a change in the event. Wagers will be canceled at the sole discretion of Nitrogen Sports, and any such adjustments will be made consistently across all accounts.

  7. NFL/NCAAf PropsFor the "Team to Score Next" prop, the points after try (extra points, and 2 point conversions) are considered part of the scoring touchdown, and not the next score.

  1. GeneralFor betting purposes, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime, if applicable). If the event has a final result of a draw (tie), moneyline wagers will be graded as a push.

  2. Game TimeAll Aussie Rules matches must go at least 80 minutes to be valid. Pre-season matches that are scheduled to play less time are an exception.

  3. Postponed GamesIf an Aussie Rules match is postponed for more than 48 hours from its original starting time, all bets on the match will be cancelled and monies will be refunded to your account.

  1. Head to Head MatchupsIn the event of a match starting but not being completed for any reason, all wagers on the outcome of the match will be void. If any player withdraws from either a singles, doubles or mixed doubles match before it is finished, the bets will be refunded, regardless of the point in the match the players resign.

  2. Set BettingIf a Badminton match is not completed due to player retirement or disqualification, all Set wagers will be considered void. Such wagers will be canceled and monies refunded. Set Winner: This wager refers to the winner of a specific set in a match. The respective set must be completed for bets to stand.

  3. Team MatchupsAll wagers stand on the results of a team match, even if one or more individual matches are settled by walk over decisions due to resignation of players. If a player is changed in a singles or a doubles match, the bets on this individual match will be cancelled and monies refunded. All bets on the outcome of a team match will, however, not be affected by any player substitutions or changes in the team line ups.

  4. Delays and Suspended GamesIf a Badminton match is completed, all bets stand as written. Any delay in the start of a match will not affect the standing of wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed. In the event that a Badminton match is shortened by tournament officials, the leader at the time of stoppage shall be declared the winner.

  1. Official ResultsUnless stated otherwise, all bets are for regulation time only and do not include overtime. For tournaments wagers can be made taking into account outcomes at the end of regulation time, eg. To Win in Overtime, then penalty shootouts count.

  2. Game TimeIf the length of a match is changed for any reason from 2 x 45 minutes to 3 x 30 minutes then all wagers stand except all bets that refer to either the first or the second half.

  3. Change of VenueIf the venue of a match is changed, all bets stand.

  4. Suspended and Postponed GamesIf a match is suspended or postponed, and does not resume within 48 hours, bets on the match will be cancelled and monies will be refunded.

  1. Over/Under and Spread WagersWhen betting on total runs (over/under) or the spread the game must go 9 innings (or 8.5 if the home team is ahead) to be valid. If a game is cancelled or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the (latest partial) inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.

  2. Official Game ResultThe result of the game is official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4.5 innings. If a game is called or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the (latest partial) inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called. Bets will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is suspended. This is not the case for 1st half betting, where a game must go the FULL 5 innings to be considered valid.

  3. Suspended Playoff GameIn the case of a suspended playoff game that will be resumed in a span of 96 hours after its suspension, all bets are valid and will be graded after the completion of the game. If the game is not completed with the 96 hours following the time of the suspension, then all bets are cancelled.

  4. Pitching ChangesAll bets stand regardless of any pitcher changes. Some prop bets may list the starting pitcher. In this case, the listed pitcher must start for these bets to have action.

  5. Postponed and Delayed GamesIn the event of a delay, as long as the event is played on the scheduled day, all bets have action. If inclement weather (or similar delay) pushes the start time past midnight local time, but the game is still played, all bets have action. If the game is rescheduled, all bets are cancelled.

  6. Mercy RuleIn any case where a Mercy Rule is invoked, games will be considered to be complete. Games wagers on runlines, totals, team totals and money line will have action.

  7. 1st Half BettingWagers on baseball 1st halves (5 innings) are decided based on the score at the end of five full innings. If a game does not go five full innings, all 1st half wagers (5 innings) will be cancelled. As soon as 5 full innings have been completed, all wagers on the first half (5 innings) will stand. In the case of Double Result Props the first half is considered the first 4 innings.

  8. Grand SalamiAll scheduled games must go at least 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before the completion of 8.5 innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be canceled.

  9. Quality PitchingFor betting purposes, Quality Pitching Prop refers to the total number of runs conceded after a specified number of innings.

  10. Extra Clarification and ExamplesThe intention of rules #1 and #2 is that in the case where the away team scores some runs in extra innings, the home team should get their 3 outs in the bottom of that inning to also score at least that many runs. So if say in the top of the 14th inning, the away team was to score 4 runs, then the only way any of those would count towards the 'official score' for grading purposes is if the home team was able to also have an opportunity to complete the bottom of the 14th with at least 4 runs or more, OR with 3 outs in the bottom of the 14th. So, to further illustrate this point, if the home team scored 2 runs and had 2 outs and the game was called, the official score would NOT include this inning since the game was suspended without the 3rd out in the bottom of the 14th and without the home team scoring at least 4 runs.

  1. Valid GamesNBA Games must go at least 43 minutes for bets to be valid. For all other basketball leagues, games must go at least 35 minutes.

  2. Period BettingIf the entire game is not completed, bets on periods will be valid as long as the entire period is played.

  3. Final ScoreWinners and losers of basketball games are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided the game has gone the minimum time as specified above. If the game is suspended after the minimum time is played and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game was halted will determine the betting results.

  4. Suspended GamesIf play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be cancelled and all funds refunded.

  5. OvertimeAll bets on the game and the second half will include overtime scoring.

  6. Fourth QuarterBets on the fourth quarter will not include overtime scoring.

  7. Game Date and VenueAll events must be played on the scheduled date and at the scheduled site to be valid.

  1. Official ResultFor grading Football, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime) as long as the game has gone at least 55 minutes.

  2. Suspended GamesIf a game is suspended or cancelled after 55 minutes and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether or not the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game was first halted will determine the betting results.

  3. Cancelled GamesIf the game is suspended before the completion of 55 minutes and not resumed the same day, all bets on the game will be cancelled and all funds refunded. If part of the game has finished (1st Quarter, 1st Half, etc) those bets will be graded providing the entire period has finished.

  4. OvertimeAll bets on the game and all bets on the second half will include overtime scoring.

  5. Fourth QuarterBets on the fourth quarter will not include overtime scoring.

  6. Rescheduled GamesAs long as the game is played on the scheduled day, all bets are valid. In addition, if inclement weather pushes the start time past midnight local time, but the game is still played, all bets are still valid. If the game is rescheduled, all bets are cancelled.

  7. DrawsIn the event of a draw as a final result - moneyline bets on either team will be graded as a push

  1. Regulation TimeUnless otherwise stated, all bets for hockey are for regulation time only and not include overtime or penalty shootouts. If a line includes overtime it will be clearly stated on the betslip - please check your betslip carefully. Penalty shootouts are considered part of overtime.

  2. Suspended GamesGames must go a minimum of 55 minutes for bets to be valid. If a game is suspended before 55 minutes is completed all bets are cancelled and refunded.

  3. Period BetsFor period bets (quarters and halves) the period must be completed for bets to be valid, otherwise the bets are cancelled and refunded.

  4. Third Period BetsGoals in overtime or the shootout do not count towards bets on the 3rd period.

  1. Fight ScheduleFights must take place within one week of the listed date of the fight or bets will be cancelled and refunded.

  2. Venue ChangesVenue changes in the same country will not affect the status of pending bets. Venue changes to a different country will result in all bets being cancelled and refunded.

  3. Moneyline BetsIf the number of rounds in a fight is changed, all bets on the moneyline will still be valid.

  4. Official ResultsA fight result may be revised or altered after initial presentation by the ring announcer. For betting purposes, results are not final until verified by officials at the fight's venue. Any overturns of a fight decision based on appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug test result or any other reason is not recognized by Nitrogen Sports.

  5. Draw or TieWhen a draw (or tie) occurs, wagers on both fighters are refunded.

  6. No Contest FightsAny fight that is deemed "no contest" will have all wagers refunded.

  7. TotalsA total listed on a fight represents the total number of completed rounds. The halfway point of a round is at exactly two minutes and thirty seconds into a five minute round. Thus, 1½ rounds would be two minutes and thirty seconds of the 2nd round. If an over/under total lands on the exact half round total in a fight, the wager will be a push.

  8. Extra RoundsAny fight involving an extra round or "sudden victory" round will be included for valid bets.

  1. Start TimesSoccer match times are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match does not start as scheduled, and does not start the same day then wagers on the match will have no action and be refunded. The exception being any wager on whether a team advances in a cup competition, or raises the cup, will have action regardless of a suspended or postponed match.

  2. DrawsIf the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be graded as winners and paid, while wagers on either team to win will be lost.

  3. Official ResultsWagers will be decided on games with two 45 minute halves and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. Periods of extra time and penalty shootouts are not included. Occasionally, tournaments, friendlies, or other matches may have time frames different than two 45 minute halves. If Nitrogen Sports does not announce this special playing time before the start of the game all bets will be considered void and stakes returned. If, in a game scheduled for two halves of 45 minutes each, a referee ends the game with an official result with what appears to be a time different than 2 halves of 45 minutes each, wagers will have action. If a referee declares a game abandoned for any reason, wagers will be void and stakes returned.

  4. Suspended MatchesIf a match is suspended before full time is reached, and not completed the same day, (local time of the match site) wagers on the outcome of the match are considered void and all stakes shall be returned. Wagers related to just the first half will have action, only if the first half has been completed. However, in the case of a suspended match not resumed the same day, (local time of the match site) most other proposition wagers not strictly related to the first half will have no action. These will include, but aren't limited to: corner kicks, offsides, players to be sent off, red/yellow cards, both teams to score, correct score, time of first goal, clean sheet, and specific players to score/not score. For further clarity, a bet on both teams to score will be void in a suspended match, even if both teams have already scored. Propositions on the team to score first, or next, will have action if there is a goal in a suspended match.

  5. Overs/UndersA match must reach full time for wagers on the total number of goals scored in the match to be valid.

  6. 1st HalfWagers on the first half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the first half. If the first half is not completed, wagers shall be void and stakes returned.

  7. 2nd HalfWagers on the second half of a soccer match include 45 minutes of play plus any stoppage time added by the referee at the end of the second half. Extra periods, golden goals, and shootouts are not included in second half wagering. Goals scored in the first half do not count toward the second half wager.

  8. (OT), (OT only) or (ET)When a team name is followed by (OT), (OT only) or (ET) this is for the 30 minute extra time period and any time the referee adds to compensate for injuries and other stoppages. It does not include penalty shootouts.

  9. (Pen)When a team name if followed by "(Pen)" or "(Penalties)" this is for penalty shootouts only.

  10. Corner KicksCorner Kicks that occur in periods of extra time, are not included. Only Corner Kicks that take place during regulation time, or any time the referee adds to compensation for injuries and other stoppages, are included.

  1. Moneyline WagersIn a head to head matchup, one full set must be completed for Money Line wagers to stand. If less than one set is completed, all Money Line wagers will be cancelled and funds returned.

  2. Set WagersWhen betting "Sets", if a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be cancelled and funds returned. If a set is completed that encompasses a bet (for example a first set bet where the first set is completed) then the bet will stand.

  3. Spread and Total WagersWhen betting Spreads and Totals, if a tennis match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all wagers will be cancelled and funds returned.

  4. Delays and Shortened MatchesIf a tennis match is completed, all wagers stand. A delay in the start of a match will not affect any wagers, nor will a suspension, as long as play is resumed and the match completed. In the event that a match does not go the expected number of sets, and the match is shortened by officials, the bets will still stand as long as an official winner is declared.

  5. Change in Surface or VenueA change in playing surface or venue will not affect any wagers.

  1. Start timesThe start dates and times for video game matches are an estimate and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match is suspended or postponed, and not resumed within 48 hours from the actual scheduled start time, then bets on the match will be refunded. Matches rescheduled more than 48 hours past the original start time will result in a refund of all wagers. The new schedule is verified by two independent sources.

  2. Team, Player and League NamesIf the name of a player or team is misspelled, all bets will be valid unless the name is obviously wrong. If the league is listed incorrectly but the matchup is still correct, all bets will be valid. If the same matchup occurs in both leagues, all bets will be graded according to the league specified.

  3. Player AliasIf in an official match a player plays with a different nickname or alias (or on a smurf account), the result is still valid unless the player was not supposed to play that match.

  4. Extra TimeIf a draw option has not been made available, then extra time will count, if played.

  5. SpreadsA spread in video game betting can be rounds/maps or other counting measures dependent on the game.

  6. Game RoundsThe winner of a Counter-Strike match has to win the majority of the rounds that have been scheduled for bets to be valid.

  7. Player RetirementIf a match is not completed because of player retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome are still valid and will be based on the official declared winner. All bets on the spread or total will be refunded. CS:GO Matches are an exception to the aforementioned Player Retirement rule. In the case of Counter-Strike, all ML, Spread and Total wagers are cancelled in the event of a Team retirement or disqualification before all scheduled map rounds are played.**A player substitution does not constitute a retirement or disqualification. In cases where single players must be substituted during the course of the match (for ddos, connection issues etc.) wagers will stand. Only in the case of a forfeiture will wagers be cancelled.

  8. Team Name ChangesIf a team changes their name or is folded into an existing team during a tournament, all wagers on this team will stand as long as that team continues to play.

  9. Changes to TotalsIf the announced number of maps/rounds is changed all bets on the spread or total are refunded. All bets on the moneyline are still valid.

  10. WalkoversIf a player/team is given a walkover on at least one map before the match starts, all wagers on the moneyline and spread will be cancelled and refunded. Walkovers do not include maps awarded to teams in an upper bracket as part of an eSports tournament. If a walkover occurs on a map during the match, all spreads/totals will be cancelled and moneyline wagers will be graded according to official results.

  11. Grading TimeeSports can take up to 24 hours to grade. Two independent sources are used to verify results, ensuring that your wagers are always graded correctly.

  12. TotalsAn Over/Under in video game betting can be rounds, maps, or other counting measures dependent on the game.

  13. AwardedMaps can occasionally be awarded due to tournament positioning, such as a Winner's Bracket Advantage or as a penalty to an opposing team. In such cases, where maps are known to have been awarded, bets on the result of the whole match or series, including spread wagers, will stand. All users should be aware that the awarding of a map may appear to alter the structure of a match as a whole as it may be displayed in a specific position (Map 1 for example) where the official results are listed. Lines on map-specific wagers will be listed and graded according to their actual order of play (**this does not include the awarded map**).

  14. The DraftIn some cases, Nitrogen Sports may offer eSports wagering up to the beginning of play. In such cases, lines may not close until after the draft. While official sources may list the start time as prior to the draft, wagers received after this posted time, but prior to the beginning of play, are still valid. The cancellation of late lines is at the sole discretion of Nitrogen Sports. Players shall not benefit by wagering on games, that have already started, with the intent to reference this rule should they lose the bet.

  1. Extra TimeFor betting purposes, winners are determined by the score at the end of normal time. Any extra time added will not count unless specified.

  2. DrawNitrogen Sports may offer a three-way line with the draw as the third betting option. In these cases, when the outcome is a draw, only bettors who wagered on the draw will be paid as winners. Any wagers on either team or contestant to win will be graded as a loss.

  3. Start TimeIf a match is postponed for any reason, all bets will be cancelled and monies refunded.

  4. Venue ChangesIf the venue of a match is changed all bets stand and will have action.

  1. Start TimeIf the start of a round gets delayed, or if a round is suspended during play, all pending wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If postponement lasts longer than 48 hours, any pending wagers will be cancelled and monies refunded.

  2. Player ActionWagers on any golfer who does not begin play in the tournament are cancelled and will have all monies refunded. A golfer is considered to have played once he or she has teed off. If a player withdraws after having teed off, wagers on that player will be lost.

  3. GradingWagers are settled using official tournament and match results (includes final match correct score and individual matches). This includes matches which finish early, either by agreement of the players or due to injury.

  4. Outright Betting: FieldThe "Field" will includes all players not offered by name.

  5. Outright Betting: WinnerAll outright bets are settled on a player winning the trophy/tournament. The result of any play-off holes are taken into account.

  6. Outright Betting: Shortened PlayIf a tournament does not complete the specified number of holes (usually 72) and is shortened by the tournament officials, the leader at the end of the number of holes specified by the officials will be deemed the winner unless there is no further play or only part of a round completed after a bet has been placed, in which case that bet will be canceled. If two or more golfers are tied for the lead at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff is generally used to determine the winner of a tournament. In this event, the winner of the playoff will be deemed the winner for betting purposes. All other golfers participating in the playoff holes will be graded as second-place finishers.

  7. Outright Betting: TiesIf there is a tie for finishing position, the tied position will count. For example, if three players tie for sixth place, all three will be considered to have finished sixth.

  8. Matchup Betting: PlayersIn a head-to-head matchup, both golfers must begin play and tee off in order for bets to have action.

  9. Matchup Betting: Listed PairsGolfers are paired only for betting purposes. The player with the lower score over the course of the entire tournament is deemed the matchup winner.

  11. Matchup Betting: Missing the CutIf one player in a matchup misses the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut, the golfer with the lower score after the cut has been made will be deemed the winner.

  12. Matchup Betting: Withdraws & DisqualificationsIf a player withdraws or is disqualified after starting, either before the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. Should a player be disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th round and the other player in the matchup bet has already missed the cut, the disqualified player will be considered the winner.

  1. Start TimeThe start of a race is defined as the signal to start the warm up lap. In order for wagers to have action, drivers must start the race

  2. GradingWagers will be graded at the time of the podium presentation. Subsequent penalties/demotions will not affect the grading of wagers.

  6. Championship WagersChampionship wagers will be graded after the final race of the season and will not be affected by subsequent penalties/demotions.

  1. GradingAll bets will be settled using the official result as declared by the relevant governing body of the match or competition concerned.

  4. Official Competition RulesIf a match is affected by external factors (such as inclement weather), we will settle your bet based on the official competition rule (includes matches affected by mathematical calculations such as the Duckworth-Lewis method (DL) or the Jayadevan system (VJD)). Duckworth Lewis method / Jayadevan system: These are mathematical systems used to adjust scores in the event of a rain delay during one-day matches in order to leave the balance of the match unaltered. The systems use the number of overs each team has left to receive and the number of wickets they have in hand in order to reach an official result.

  5. No WinnerWhere no price is quoted for the tie and the official competition rules do not determine a winner then all wagers will be graded as a push. In competitions where a bowl out or super over determines a winner, then wagers will be settled on the official result.

  7. Test Matches: Partial InningsIn cases where the game did not go at least 4 innings all bets on the results for the over/under are cancelled. In case the game did not go at least 4 innings all bets on the outcome for the winner of a match are determined based on the official announcement

  9. Test Matches: DrawsIf a three-way moneyline with the draw as a third betting option is offered, only those bettors who wagered on the draw will be paid as winners; those who bet on either team/contestant to win will lose their bet.

  10. Test Matches: AbandonedIf a test match is abandoned or disrupted by outside interference (riot, etc) all bets on this match will be cancelled.

  11. One Day Internationals: Partial ResultIn case a game does not go at least the official number of overs, all bets on the outcome for the over/under are cancelled. 12. One Day Internationals: Reserve DayIn matches where a reserve day is utilized all bets will stand and carry over to the reserve day.

  13. Twenty/20: Partial ResultIn case a game did not go at least the official number of overs, all bets on the outcome for the over/under are cancelled. In case a game did not go at least the official number of overs, all bets on the outcome for the winner of the match are determined based on the official announcement.

  2. ActionAt least one stone must be thrown by each team in the sixth end to constitute "action" for wagering purposes in every match.

  3. GradingThe final score of a match shall be the score reported by tournament organizers. Nitrogen Sports respects each individual tournament's scoring rules, regulations, and rulings regarding conceded matches.

  5. Head to Head: The FieldIf matchups against "The Field" are offered, the competitor listed must beat every other athlete for a wager on that competitor to win. If any athlete beats all the listed competitor, bets on "The Field" will be graded as winners. 6. Overall Races Matchups: Multi Leg/StageIn Multiple leg/stage overall race matchups, the winner is the rider that is classified highest at the end of the competition.

  1. No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em (NLHE)No Limit Hold ‘Em is poker as it was meant to be played, no caps or maximum bets on hands, and players go all in and all out for the win!

  2. NLHE Rules Each Player is dealt two “pocket” cards. The dealer is designated by a white chip marked with a letter D.

The “small blind” (the player to the immediate left of the dealer) automatically contributes half of the necessary ante or “blind” to the pot. The “big blind” (the player to the immediate left of the small blind) automatically contributes the full ante or “blind” to the pot. A round of betting commences, during which each player (in clockwise order) has an opportunity to: a) match the blind (the minimum amount of mBTC necessary to participate in the hand); b) raise (bet a larger amount of money than is necessary to participate in the hand, thereby forcing other players to match that amount if they wish to continue), or c) fold (refuse to match the blinds or raises and thereby withdraw from that particular hand). Once the action circles around the table, the small blind must pay the remaining half of his/her blind as well as any additional raises in order to continue playing. If a big or small blind will not or cannot match any raises and folds, their blinds are lost to the pot.

When all blinds or bets have been matched by players wishing to remain in the hand, play moves on to the “flop”. The flop is the revealing of three cards in the middle of the table to all players. Following the flop, a round of betting commences with the remaining player to the nearest left of the dealer. Each player has the option to: a) check (not bet any additional mBTC and pass the option on to the next player); b) bet/raise (place into the pot an additional amount of mBTC which must be matched by any other player wishing to remain in the game), or c) fold (refuse to match any additional bets or raises and withdraw from the hand, losing all mBTC previously contributed to the pot through the course of the hand). If all players involved in a hand choose to check, the hand moves on without any additional mBTC being contributed to the pot. Otherwise, all bets/raises must be matched by players wishing to continue before the hand continues. Should all players but one choose to fold their hands and not match a bet, the player who has made that high bet wins the hand.

The “turn” is the revealing of the fourth card to the table. The turn is followed by another round of betting that follows the same formula detailed in part iii. Remember, this is No Limit Hold ‘Em, and players may risk any amount of the mBTC which they have accrued throughout the course of the game. When the hand has been checked down or all bets/raises matched the hand moves on to the “river”.

The river card is the fifth and final card revealed to the table. It’s revealing begins a final round of betting. The players who remain to contest the hand after all betting then have their cards revealed and the high hand wins the pot. In the event of a draw (equal hands held by two or more players) the pot is split accordingly.

After the conclusion of a hand, the dealer chip shifts clockwise to the left (the former small blind will now be the dealer) and the process repeats.

  3. Limit Texas Hold 'Em (LHE)Limit Hold ‘Em has the same process of play as that of No Limit. The only difference is that there is a cap or maximum bet established that no player can exceed at any point during a game. The maximum bet is identified in the description of each table in the Nitrogen Poker Lobby. Limit Hold ‘Em is a great way to be introduced to poker, fewer all-in bets and a more conservative, but equally savvy style of play mean a great way to stay involved and improve one’s skill.

  4. LHE Rules Limit Hold ‘Em has the same process of play as that of No Limit.

  5. Omaha (Omaha Hi)Omaha is a fun and exciting way to play poker with a twist. The standard rules and regulations are much the same as Hold ‘Em poker, and those who are familiar should have an easy time picking up Omaha. Hand values and ranking remain the same, as does betting and the general structure of the game. The differences are explained below.

  6. Omaha Hi Rules Each player is dealt four cards at the beginning of each hand, rather than the customary two. All four of those cards are private and hidden from the other players.

The play structure of each hand remains the same: dealer, small and big blinds, and rounds of betting all have the same structure as outlined under Hold ‘Em rules. (Omaha games are limit games to add structure to a game where hands and combinations of cards can change rapidly)

The goal of Omaha is to for players to create the best hand possible by using two of the four cards from their hand and three of the five cards revealed to the table. Players must abide by this rule and not use three cards from their hand and two from those revealed on the table or any other combination.

  7. TelesinaTelesina is a variant of 5 Card Stud, and is played using a deck of only 32 cards rather than the traditional 52. More common in Europe it might be a fun way to spice up your poker experience!

  8. Telesina Rules A maximum of six players can play telesina at once. Two cards are dealt to each player. The first card dealt to each player will be concealed while the second card is face up for everyone to see. The first betting round will then commence. The player who hold the highest card after the first deal leads the betting.

After the initial deal and round of betting, three more cards are dealt to each player face-up and visible to all players. A round of betting follows each deal, consistent with most varieties of poker.

The sixth card to be dealt (following the initial two hole cards and following three visible cards to each player) is the “Vela Card” which appears in the center of the table. Every player still in the hand is able this card. Then the final round of betting will commence.

Unique to Telesina is a variation in hand values. For a game of Telesina, a flush is valued more highly than a full house. A full ranking of Telesina hands follows:
    Straight Flush
    Four of a Kind
    Flush
    Full House
    Straight
    Three of a Kind
    Two Pairs
    One Pair
    Highest Card

As such, there will be a strict anti-cheating policy which will encompass all attempts by users to gain an unfair advantage over their competitors. Any and all of the following may result in the suspension of user accounts, banning and the seizure of funds.

  2. CollusionThere may be absolutely no collusions between users. This includes sharing of hole cards and any other information that gives players an unfair advantage.

  3. Chip DumpingNo chip-dumping. The purposeful losing, or casting-away of chips to benefit another user is strictly prohibited.

  4. Multiple AccountsNo multiple Accounts. As detailed above under the “user accounts” section, the use of multiple accounts by the same Nitrogen Poker user/player is considered fraudulent and is prohibited.

  5. External ProgramsNo external player assistance programs. The use of other software programs/applications or any other outside to aid/abet in the gaining of an unfair advantage over other users is considered cheating and is prohibited by Nitrogen Sports.

  6. BotsNO BOTS. Bots or other forms of AI are considered to be external assistance by Nitrogen Sports and are under the same prohibitions.

  4. OtherFor additional information regarding withdrawals, deposits and/or transfers, please refer to Nitrogen Sports’ Cashier Rules. To find: Nitrogen Home Page > Nitrogen > Rules > Cashier.

  1. Nitrogen Collusion Policy Collusion is a form of cheating where two or more players work together in a poker game to gain an advantage over one or more players at the table. This is sometimes done by a single person (using more than one account) or by multiple people (each using their own account). It can happen in cash games as well as SnGs and tournaments.

Our methods for detecting collusion are based on how a hand of poker is played. If our system detects that a hand may have been played in an unusual way, it will be flagged to be reviewed by security. A manual review of the full hand will then take place to determine if there was collusion.

In addition to our own reviews, all player reports of collusion will be fully investigated by our staff.

Collusion is strictly forbidden at Nitrogen.

If a player or team of players is found to be colluding in any way at our poker tables, their accounts may be permanently banned from playing poker at Nitrogen.

These exists no second chance policy for collusion, and ignorance of the above policy has no effect on the consequences

  4. Why is my wager not graded yet? Some sports and leagues must have their results verified by our team to ensure correct results. Sports especially like eSports or foreign sports teams do not always have official pages, or sometimes the posted results are incorrect on one source and take multiple sources to verify the winner/outcome.

  5. How long do withdraws take?Withdraws are very fast in most cases. Sometimes our security might detect that your account has been hacked or accessed by a 3rd party in which case your withdraw may need a manual review.

  6. How do you decide on the odds to offer? Our odds are grabbed from various sources and are also subject to change depending on any action we receive on a particular game. Our policy is that you will be paid out here more, than anywhere else on the internet for your bitcoin wager. If you find better odds elsewhere, please let us know by creating a support ticket!

  7. Why are your limits low, I want to wager more? While it is our strict policy that users do not create more than one account, we have had many people abuse this rule and therefore NEW accounts will now start with low limits. Long-standing accounts can request to have their limits increased by creating a support ticket. While we do our best to accomodate everyone's limit requests, there mamy be a long queue during this transition period. We thank you for your patience.

  8. What do I do if I have a problem that I couldn't solve after reading this FAQ, the Rules page and the Terms page or what if I just have a feature I want to request?Create a support ticket. You can do this through the menu on the left under Nitrogen -> Support.

Exchange Information

Introduction

Welcome to the launch of Nitrogen Sports’ Exchange! Please take some time to read the following. We’ve tried to cover the important how-to’s and guidelines below, but if you still have questions, you can always create a support ticket or ask some friendly members in chat!

We know you’ve been waiting a long time for this, so we’ve released as soon as possible. Because of this, the Exchange has minimal offerings and minimal features right now. Rest assured, every single day we are adding to the capabilities.

The next items on our list including:
  • creating a loyalty program to reward people who use the exchange
  • adding more sports, leagues, and betting options

What is a betting exchange?

Using Nitrogen’s Sportsbook, players place bets against the house. We collect money for all the outcomes of a certain event, and pay out the winning players.

Unlike a sportsbook, an exchange allows players to wager against each other. Every bet has a winning player and a losing player. The loser’s stake pays the winner’s profit, and Nitrogen Sports will keep a small commission from every winning bet.

What are the benefits of an exchange?

  • You are able to set your own odds for a match
  • there are no limits; you can wager as much as you like

How is placing a bet on an exchange different from a traditional sportsbook?

On Nitrogen’s Sportsbook, you are always betting on a certain outcome to win.

On Nitrogen’s Exchange, you can make two kinds of bets:

  • a back bet (you want the outcome to win)
  • a lay bet (you want the outcome to lose)

Wagering on a back bet is similar to how our sportsbook works. The difference is that on an exchange, each back bet will need a matching lay bet to have action.

Whenever you place a bet (back or lay), you will be automatically matched if the opposite side exists at the odds you requested. For partial matches, any remaining wager amount will remain on the market until someone else matches this amount.

How do I actually place a bet?

When placing a bet on NBA money lines, you will be presented with two teams. Each team will have the option to back or lay.

Back buttons will always be blue, and lay buttons will always be pink.

The away team is listed on the left, and the left set of buttons will correspond to that team. The home team is listed on the right, and the right set of buttons will correspond to that team.

When you press a back or lay button, your choice will show up on your betslip. Be sure to note if this is a back bet or lay bet - the same blue and pink colours are used.

The odds will be filled in with the current offer. If no offer is present, we will suggest the starting odds. At this point, you can edit the odds and the risk amount - we have not set limits on these amounts.

When betting “back”:
  • the risk amount is what you want to risk
  • the “to win” is what you want to win
  • the odds represent the odds you want on the match

When betting “lay”:
  • the risk amount is what you will let someone else bet on the match
  • the “to win” is what you will promise to pay them if they win
  • the odds are the odds you are offering to the backer

Once this is done, you can decide when this bet will expire. By default, the bet will be set to close when we expect the game to start. You can edit this time by any amount. For example, if you were willing to let it get matched 10 minutes after the expected start time, you could push this time out by 10 minutes and your offer will remain open until then. The other option is to select “User Managed” which allows you to close the bet yourself. THe system will not cancel the wager for you until the game is over. This option allows for live wagering, as you can create an accept offers anytime during the match.

Once you’re happy with the betslip, press the “Place” button, followed by “Confirm”. If there are no errors, your betslip will be submitted.

When you place your bet on Nitrogen’s Exchange, it will either be matched right away, partial matched, or sit unmatched until someone decides to bet the other side. You can view both your matched and unmatched wagers on the “Open Offers” tab of your betslip. Once the match is graded, the bet will be moved to the “My Exchange Wagers” page under the Exchange menu items.

If I am betting against other players, how do I know I’ll be paid?

We hold 100% of the funds you bet while an offer is on the table. This means that if you see an offer on the Exchange for any amount, you can be sure the amount is guaranteed.

I don’t want people to know what I am betting on, or that I am backing or laying against them.

As with the Sportsbook, all exchange wagers are 100% anonymous. You will have the option to share your exchange betslip on chat or other mediums with a unique link, but you certainly don’t have to!

How much does the exchange take as a percentage?

Nitrogen Sports' Exchange takes a percentage off of the amount won only (it is NOT calculated on the stake plus winnings). At launch, this will be 2% of the won amount across all markets. This will change once we launch our loyalty program.

We will gradually refine our commission structure to be market-specific, and to include commission discounts based on our loyalty program. All accounts that place wagers prior to the release of the loyalty program will be retroactively credited their discount.

Does this percentage cost me more or less than using a sportsbook to place bets?

It depends on the sportsbook's juice!

A sportsbook line of 1.91/1.91 (-110 / -110) would keep $10 for every $220 wagered, or 4.55%.

The exchange line of 2.0/2.0 (+100/+100) would keep $2.20 for every $220 wagered, or 1% (on the exchange with a 2% commission market, using the no-vig line).

We're incredibly secure, and enforce a strict anti-collusion policy. We also offer superior support and a rewarding loyalty program. If you have any questions about playing poker at Nitrogen, please submit a support ticket (accessible through the Nitrogen menu: Nitrogen > Support). Our customer service team would be happy to help!

I would like to play under different names. Am I able to create more than one poker account?

No. For reasons of security and to maintain an ethic of fair play, Nitrogen Sports prohibits the use of secondary or multiple accounts by the same user engaged in poker games.

I lost my password, am I able to recover it?

Yes. Submitting a support ticket (accessible through the Nitrogen menu: Nitrogen > Support) requesting a password reset will place you in contact with our customer service staff who will be happy to lead you through the process of recovering your account.

Am I able to transfer funds between my sportsbook and poker accounts?

As a user of Nitrogen Sports, your sportsbook and poker accounts are one and the same. Funds from your account may be distributed for wagering with our sportsbook or entering poker games.

How do I know how much money is in the pot?

The total amount of money in the pot on a given hand will be displayed for all players to see on the table next to the cards that have been revealed.

Can I play at the same table as my friend?

Yes, of course you can! Playing with, and trash-talking to a friend can make a great game of poker even more enjoyable. Collusion of any kind is, however, strictly prohibited (see poker rules) and any users discovered to be cheating through this method will be banned from the site and their funds frozen pending investigation.

What is a limit game?

A limit game places a cap on the amount of money a player may risk or wager on a particular hand. Nitrogen Sports offers both limit and no limit poker games.

Yes! You are able to change your Nitrogen Poker Avatar by selecting your poker settings (the small gear icon beside the "Lobby" tab near the top left of your browser), then selecting "AVATARS" in the settings menu.

If you lose your connection to poker, your disconnection timebank will take effect. The disconnection timebank starts at 60 seconds and will shrink if you become disconnected.

What happens if the poker server has an issue during a cash game or tournament?

If the poker server crashes during a cash game, the hand will be invalidated and the stakes returned to each player. In a tournament, the tournament will end and remaining players will split the prize pool.
